This one took a while to get around to me it would seem… Courtesy of my friend Brad in NJ, I am supposed to blog about the sixth picture on the sixth page of my Flickr stream.
I shot this on a photowalk around the Sutliff Cider Company southeast of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. After getting the obvious cider barrel and apple shots around the grounds, I went exploring the surrounding area for something else. The contrast of new and old here with the barn and bicycle along with the high contrast marks brought on by the deterioration of the wood really stood out for me. My only complaint is that I missed getting the upper window in the frame completely.
